The nose has interesting elements of rhubarb. A sip reveals leanish fruit with vibrant mineral elements.

One often finds the following in a sip of Pinot Noir: black cherry, blackberry, currant, cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, wet leaves, earthy barnyard elements, spices like vanilla, cinnamon, clove and others, as well as tomato sometimes. The more fruit forward New World pinot noirs can work well with both spicier and more subtle cuisine. Burgundy's Old World charm demands more subtle food.
