finds the following in a sip of Pinot Noir: black cherry, blackberry, currant, cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, wet leaves, earthy barnyard elements, spices like vanilla, cinnamon, clove and others, as
well as tomato sometimes. The more fruit forward New World Pinot Noirs work best with hotly spiced cuisine. Burgundy's Old World charm demands more subtle food.
