The nose strikes an elegant chord of ripe plum, floral, spice and mineral. There are flavors of black fruit, tar, menthol, spice and floral/violet character in the powerful, long length. The tannin and oak aspects are in balance.

"This exquisite wine has been made using grapes from our 76-year-old vineyard "Las Compuertas". Produced in very limited quantities and only in exceptional years, our Afincado Malbec is the finest expression of this prized vineyard and the result of passionate dedication from our winemakers," boasts wine maker Pablo Cuneo. "Soft, sweet tannins give the wine a full body and a luscious complexity yielding to a staggeringly long and lingering finish."

Serve this velvety red with seared slice of prime rib, lamb chops or with filet mignon wrapped in bacon.
