Red fruit and cherries on the nose, with some raisin influence. Good texture on the palate, which still has plenty of fruit. Nice bittersweet edge to the cherry, rose petals, cigar, tar and smoke flavors.

A blend of 80% Corvina, 10% Rondinella and 10% Sangiovese. After the harvest in late September to October, the grapes are carefully selected and the healthiest, ripest fruit is placed in a well-ventilated room to raisin until January. They are then pressed, left on the skins for 21 days and fermented into the delicious wine that is Amarone. The wine then remained in tank for 3 months and was aged in barrels for 24 months before bottling. It followed a minimum period of 6 months of refinement in bottle before the release on the market.
